✨Joy as a Practice: What We Learned This Weekend
A Joy-Filled Weekend, and what it taught us
Happy Monday Growth Club Community,
This weekend, Growth Club collaborated with Good Active for a truly nourishing Wellness Day at Unplug Studio, and it was nothing short of magical.
Our incredible facilitator, Dayna April led us on a deep journey of embodying JOY, even (and especially) during times when joy feels far away.
Our greatest collective realization?
Joy is not just a fleeting feeling, it’s a conscious choice.
We have the power (and responsibility) to intentionally cultivate more of it in our everyday lives.
The very next morning, we gathered again for our Mindful Morning, where we slowed down to integrate the lessons from the day before.
We shared openly:
What blocks us from joy?
What does joy feel like in the body?
How can we return to our natural state of lightness, laughter, and flow?
The answers were both tender and powerful. Joy doesn’t require us to be perfect, but it does require us to be present.
Upcoming Event: See and Be Seen with Dayna
As part of her signature summer workshop series, Dayna has been cultivating a beautiful space to be witnessed in our fullness.
✨ Her final workshop of the season is happening on:
📅 Tuesday, August 12th at 5:30pm
📍 Moss Venice

Journaling Prompts: Cultivating Joy
As we deepen into this practice, here are a few prompts to explore this week:
What beliefs or habits are currently blocking my access to joy?
What does joy feel like in my body? How can I welcome more of that sensation today?
When was the last time I felt pure, unfiltered joy? What was I doing? Who was I with?
If joy was my natural state, how would I speak, move, rest, or create today?
Let yourself move slowly through these prompts, and remember: joy often returns when we give it space to.
With love,
